In the oligopoly era of Shipping Career and ITOs, there is limited space for stevedoring, so OSL has strategically placed itself in Port / Jetty ownership and operator position. In 2007, OSL acquired Gopalpore port which was a ‘fair-weather’ port and transformed it into a fully operational ‘all weather’ one. Currently the throughput of same is around 15MMTPA with 3 fully functional jetties, We took Gopalpur ports limited: 2006 (14.9.2006) with a special purpose entity/vehicle with hong kong based noble group and sara international and the consortium emerged as a successful bidder in the global tender.

Integrated Cargo Terminal Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL GROUP), were declared the successful bidder in the Global Tender called upon by Visakhapatnam Port Authority on 30th January-2023. The concession agreement between ICTPL (CONCESSIONAIRE) and Vishakhpatnam Port Authority PA (CONCESSIONING AUTHORITY) was signed on 26th March-2024.

On 11.12.2024 Mr.Durgesh Kumar Dubey-(IRTS) Dy. Chairperson, Vishakhpatnam Port Authority handed over the Award of Concession of WQ-6 Berth situated in the Northern Arm of the Inner Harbour Vishakhpatnam Port Authority PA on DBFOT basis for 30 years to Integrated Cargo Terminal Private Limited (ICTPL) a wholly owned subsidiary of Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL Group). The Award of Concession was received by Mr.J.K.Nayak , Director and Mr.J.S.Kampani – Dy. COO of ICTPL (Integrated Cargo Terminal Private Limited)

The berth (West Quay 6) awarded is compatible for handling a fully laden Panamax vessel and allowed to handle all sorts of bulk and break bulk cargoes.

WQ-6 Terminal having an overall length of 255 meters with 14.5 meters draft, located in the Northern Arm of the Inner Harbour of Visakhapatnam Port for a period of 30 years on DBFOT Basis. This Multi commodity bulk terminal shall be equipped with the state of art modern cargo handling facilities providing efficient and reliable cargo handling services in the Port of Visakhapatnam. The up gradation of the existing facilities shall enable the vibrant industrial hinterland of Visakhapatnam to meet its enhanced requirement in handling of various EXIM Cargo.

The terminal is the only berth in Visakhapatnam Port having a large back up area of 2.3. Acres at the berth equipped with 100 tons of static weigh bridge. Additionally, a dedicated stack yard of 12.2 Acres area within a proximity from the berth surrounded by high raised boundary wall and static weigh bridge shall provide reduced turnaround time of vessels and overall logistic cost to its valued users.
